We've been very fortunate to host some of the most incredible people in wine over the years. Lucky to have met dozens of luminary winemakers and importers, some of which have been true trailblazers in their fields, and inspirations for how Monarch operates and conducts itself as a small, local business.
On Monday, November 4th, we'll have the honor and pleasure of introducing you to two such people: Alice Anderson and Topher de Felice of âmevive. They are creating some of the most important, forward-thinking, and delicious wines in California today. Not only is their winemaking pure, honest and full of soul, they are two of the country's leading voices in regenerative agriculture. So much so, the massively influential, sommelier-turned vigneron Rajat Parr once told me he speaks to Alice daily, whenever he has a question on farming and ecosystems.
This will be Alice and Topher's first visit to Charleston and their only public event, so please join us in welcoming them to town! We'll have a bunch of their brilliant wines open for you to taste.
