It's a once in lifetime type of week at the shop! We have the incredibly rare opportunity to host two icons of American wine on back to back days. This Thursday we welcome the legendary Rajat Parr back to Monarch. And Friday, for the first time in CHS, Oregon trailblazer's Ross and Bee Maloof.
Rajat needs little introduction, having gone from James Beard Award winning sommelier to author, to winemaker, he is one of the most important and recognizable figures in wine today. On Thursday you'll have the chance to meet Raj and explore the incredible wines he's producing at his newest project, Phelan Farm. Here, regenerative farming and cool climate grapes are creating spell-binding wines under the influence of the mighty Pacific. Raj is revolutionizing California yet again, and these are some of the most exciting wines coming out of the Golden State in decades.
Friday is all about Oregon, with Ross & Bee Maloof taking you on a tour of their genre defying wines. This young, up and coming couple have cemented themselves as committed protectors of Oregon wine and its history, all the while pushing its boundaries to heights unknown.
