100% Nebbiolo grown organically on a tiny 2.5ha plot on glacial, pebble-strewn soils. Grapes are hand harvested and fermented with ambient yeast in stainless steel tanks. Then racked into a single 2500L barrel where the wine rests for a year before being bottled and aged an additional 6 years before release.
Effusive and perfumed aromas of raspberry, wild strawberry and rose balanced by pipe tobacco, porcini mushroom and a touch of espresso. The palate sparkles with tart red cherry and eucalyptus, melded with fresh acidity and tannins softened by age; the wine seems to float effortlessly across your tongue and last forever.
