40% Chardonnay, 30% Chenin Blanc, 15% Marsanne, 15% Viognier with the Marsanne and Viognier seeing a bit of skin-contact during fermentation. All sourced from the Brosseau Vineyard in the cool, limestone soils of the Chalone AVA. Fermented with native yeast and aged in used, French oak.
The aromas grab you immediately with bright lemon, lime zest, frozen mango and jasmine tea. The palate’s vibrancy and textual complexity is wondrous, delivering crisp citrus fruit on a core of tightly wound, rocky minerals followed by a bolt of acidity.
