100% Chardonnay from vines located just outside the village of Loché, grown on limestone-rich soils (similar soils to the ones found in the Cote d'Or). The wine spends almost two years in used oak barriques before bottling. This is the domain's most age-worthy and complex wine.
Opens with clear, defined aromas of lemon zest, white grapefruit, flinty reduction and a hint of spice-laced nougat. The palate is intense and powerful yet refined and harmonious, with bright orchard fruit balanced by salty minerals, beautifully creamy textures and a stern backbone of cleansing, citrus acidity. Burgundy's brilliance, perfectly captured.
