Vines planted by Kemlin himself in 2019 on clay and silica soils with limestone bedrock. All farming is organic with no synthetic chemicals. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in a 60/40 mix of Burgundian barrels and stainless steel tanks. After aging on the lees for eight months, it's bottled without fining or filtration.
A wine of exquisite balance and detail, offering aromas of white grapefruit and crisp pear contrasted by fresh cut herbs, pretty florals and a touch of raw almond. The palate is textural and round edged but with plenty of cut in the form of saline minerals and lemony acidity. A quintessential seafood wine with enough versatility to stand up to roast pork with Herbs de Provence.
