An über-traditional Rhône blend of Grenache Blanc and Bourboulenc, an ancient grape that lends acidity and energy to white blends. Hand harvested and direct pressed, the Grenache Blanc ferments and ages in neutral oak barrels, while the Bourboulenc does the same in stainless steel, both for five months. After blending, the wine ages another 2 months before being racked and bottled without fining or filtering.
A brilliant gold in the glass. The nose is packed with luscious Meyer lemon, white peach, green pear, panettone, fresh cream and white flowers. The palate is layered and richly textured but never feels heavy or overwhelming. Crunchy orchard fruits and subtle spices are accented by driving, salty minerality and lemony freshness. A brilliant white wine and a perfect change of pace.
