Chenin Blanc sourced from vines planted at the foot of Brézé, the Loire's Grand Cru, and the greatest Chenin vineyard on the planet. Grapes are hand-harvested and sorted by hand in the vineyard. Everything is directly pressed into stainless steel for fermentation, then aged in a combination of steel tanks and large, used oak barrels for 10 months before bottling.
Vibrant and electric, there's a chalky, sea-spray minerality that frames an expressive nose of crunchy white peach, cut lemon, beeswax and a touch of jasmine green tea. Nervy and full of energy, the brisk palate is alight with more fresh citrus and just-ripe apricot, all layered on a bed of palate cleansing saline minerals. This is white wine perfection.
