100% Chardonnay planted on clay and limestone. This wine sees a very traditional, classic Burgundian èlevage: the hand-harvested grapes are fermented and aged for 12 months in French oak (10% new). Bottled 16 months after harvest.
The wine shines in the glass with aromas of lime, pear, white peach, and a touch of hazelnut. The palate's poise is astounding, balancing dense, salty minerals with bright orchard and citrus fruits. There's an effortless concentration here that can only come from centuries of winemaking experience, coupled with world class terroir.
