Together they bring much needed attention to America's indigenous grapes. This sparkling Catawba is made from organically grown grapes on the banks of Keuka Lake. It's a fresh, juicy sparkling wine with crisp orchard fruits and refreshing citrus acidity. An all-American aperitif made to kick off your holiday feast!

Bernard Baudry 'Le Domaine' Chinon Blanc 2022

A shop favorite, Domaine Bernard Baudry needs little introduction. Started in the 80's with a handful of inherited vineyards, the winery today stands at 32 hectares, all farmed organically. The 'Domaine' Chinon Blanc is a rare example of Chenin Blanc from this Cabernet Franc dominated appellation. Bone dry with textbook chenin texture and a refreshing array of citrus, pear and wildflower. As singular as it is delicious.

Brothers Jean-Daniel and Thomas Ozil farm 16 hectares of their fifth-generation farm in the Ardèche. Going above and beyond in both the vineyard and the cellar, everything at Domaine Ozil is done with minimal intervention. Mostly Syrah with a third Grenache, this isn't you're average Côtes-du-Rhône. Simultaneously dark-fruited and lifted, with a touch of perfectly balanced pepper and spice. Delicious with a light chill.

Wonderwerk is dynamic duo and best friends Issamu Kamide and Andrew Lard. The pair make wine in downtown Los Angeles and work with a number of farmers, all growing grapes organically and sustainably. 'Marinara!' is an equal blend of Abruzzo's Montepulciano and Petite Syrah grown in Contra Costa County. Don't let the translucent color fool you, there's plenty of body and spice here to match the buoyant dark, plummy fruits and bright, cleansing acidity.

Emme Wines is the brainchild of Rosalind Reynolds. She farms organically and makes wines without any additives. 'For You, Anything' is 100% Carignan sourced from Mendocino county. Fermented for a short 8 days with whole bunches in stainless steel tanks. It's a bright, crunchy wine with brambly red berry and savory pink peppercorn. The palate's juicy fruits are supported by solid tannic backbone. My latest domestic crush.

This bottling is a perennial favorite, 'Albahra Chingao' is a special, single plot bottling from made from high-altitude Garnacha Tintorera. It's a cornucopia of blackberries, cherries, autumnal spice and graphite, balanced by a concentrated yet refreshing palate. Elegant and robust with deep minerality, this wine is serious and joyful at once. Sure to be the centerpiece of your table, right next to the turkey.
