For established Barolo aficionados, Oddero needs no introduction. The Barolo produced by this iconic, historic winery have been feverishly sought-after by long-time collectors for decades. In a region filled with deep, generational tradition, the Oddero family stands shoulder to shoulder with Piedmont's greats: Rinaldi, Mascarello, Conterno, et al.
It's with great honor that we welcome Pietro Oddero to the shop for a FREE TASTING on FEBRUARY 9th. Pietro is the seventh generation to run the 200 year old estate and Monarch is his only public stop in Charleston.
Pietro will be pouring a wide range of his family's wines, including several Barolo Crus and featuring a rare treat: the newly released 2021 Barbaresco 'Gallina'. This tasting will be Gallina's U.S. debut, making this event an unbelievable chance for you to be among the first in the country to try this magical Cru in the hands of Oddero.
