100% Mondeuse farmed biodynamically. Hand harvested whole-bunches are fermented with ambient yeast. Raised in large, used French oak barrels for 10 months before being bottled un-fined and unfiltered.
A fragrant bouquet of red berries, dried roses, lavender, clove, pepper, pine needles and eucalyptus. On the palate, juicy blackberry, plum, cranberry and tart cherry are buttressed by a dense mid-palate minerality and earthy base notes. There's a mountain freshness that lingers throughout. A great, GREAT wine that's one of a kind.
