It's an Italian Thanksgiving this year
Thanksgiving has always been a day to feast, give thanks and toast alongside family and friends. The perfect day to eat, eat and eat some more! With thoughts of the upcoming meal in our heads, we pondered which country produces the greatest wines for the dinner table? ITALY! This year, we're giving the tired old Thanksgiving pairings THE BOOT! Italian wines offer structure and a cleansing acidity which will keep your palate buoyant and refreshed throughout ones' extended seat at the table. Light enough to drink all day, yet bold enough in body to cut through even the richest stuffing.
We've even included Martha Stewart's Italian stuffing recipe to help you stay on theme this Italian Thanksgiving! Click this LINK!
Way up in Alto-Piemonte, Colombera & Garella are making some of the most exciting, elegant and beautiful wines in Italy. This Nebbiolo blend has all the complexity and depth of the more famous Barolo and Barbaresco, but none of the ultra tannic grip. Delicate, light, ethereal, and soft, it has bright red fruit with a mineral backbone and hints of spice. This is THE TURKEY WINE in the lineup.

Your pre-meal Aperitivo, but also a bottle that will bring that Italian stuffing to new levels!
